Citizen Church came into being in 2020 at St Teilo’s Church in Cathays, at the invitation of the Bishop of Llandaff. Since then, our community has continued to grow within the Diocese of Llandaff. Citizen Senghenydd launched in St Peter’s in 2022, and Citizen Pontypridd launched in St Mary’s Glyntaf in 2023. Together we want to play our part in the evangelisation of the nation, the revitalisation of the church and the transformation of society. We want to be somewhere you can belong – whoever you are, you’re very welcome! 

Citizen Church is a parish within the Diocese of Llandaff, and is part of the Church in Wales. We're also part of the HTB network and serve our region of South Wales as an Alpha Hub Church.
