POLICIES

Citizen Church operates a number of policies and procedures to help define the way we carry out our activity and how we relate to one another across our organisation. They’re useful tools that can help us work healthily and efficiently.

These policies set out how we will behave as responsible employers, outline the expectations we have of our employees, and structure the way we work together as a team of clergy, staff, volunteers and congregation members.

Some elements of this policy suite fulfil key legal obligations and ensure we comply with the law; others describe the ways we choose to do things at Citizen.

No set of policies can be exhaustive or without imperfections: these policies represent our current best practice but are subject to regular review, updating, and change. Any printed copies may be out of date: this website will always have the most up to date version of each policy.
