"Finding citizen was like finding comfort in a new home. After taking a leap of faith to study in a new country (that i had yet to visit) everything was scary. Anxieties filled my brain and my connection with God was minimal. After finding citizen from a quick google search of churches in the area and, again blind faith to even go to service, I knew i’d found something special. I not only reconnected with a faith that I had believed in but strayed from, but I connected with people who welcomed me as if I had been here all along. My time at citizen has left me with nothing but feelings of acceptance, love, and desire to continue my journey through my faith."

"Citizen has been a game changer for me. It has helped me find community and make strong friendships whilst studying here in Cardiff. Small groups and Sunday services have created so many awesome opportunities for me to grow closer to God and grow in faith. The leadership team also paired me with an amazing mentor and encouraged me to push myself to get more involved with serving on a team. The amazing welcome and outreach of this church means that I feel totally comfortable inviting my housemates and friends to come along on Sundays knowing that they will enjoy the service and the people. I love attending the Alpha course here because they always have amazing food and hospitality and create space for rich conversations and relationships. There is no other church quite like Citizen with it’s amazing vision, passion and commitment to seeing the nation know Jesus."

"I still remember the first time I walked into Citizen, I was immediately greeted by so many people. They were all so friendly and it made me feel like I've been there for years. The socials are all so fun! The most memorable was the freshers party. There was a bull rodeo and no matter how hard I tried, I only stayed on for a few seconds.
